Rally activities in India are administered by the MAI Rally Commission, which is charged with specific responsibility for strategic planning and development for national rallying.   Karting
The MAI Karting Commission administers Karting in India. The Commission is charged with the specific responsibility for strategic planning and development of karting. It also has the specific responsibility for policy development, rules and regulations pertaining to kart racing. and the development and monitoring of technical and sporting regulations.

  Circuits & Safety
The MAI Circuits & Safety Commission is the commission responsible for the development of motor racing circuits in India. It has the specific responsibility for development of circuit regulations taking into account the unique conditions found in India. This commission is also responsible for the inspection and homologation of existing circuits, be it karting or automobile racing, at a National level.
 


  Sport Promotion
The main objective of this Commission, as the name suggests, is the promotion of motorsport in India. The Commission goes about this by creating proposals for prospective sponsors, advertising and marketing of the sport.
